THE MOTH GATHERER - Giving Away Unreleased Song For Free

  • Print

Experimental/sludge trio from Sweden The Moth Gatherer is offering a free download of their unreleased song. The download in question is the band's track from A Bright Celestial Light (released in April 2013 on Agonia Records) album sessions, which has not seen the light of day yet - neither on CD nor LP. The song is titled "Ascend" and can be accessed through "liking" the group's profile at Facebook.
In other news the band recently announced a new line-up member, Svante Karlsson (the first one from left on the photo), who will take care of drums and guitars. With plans to focus on a new record in nearest future, co-founding member Alex Stjernfeldt commented: "Svante joined The Moth Gatherer to complete the line-up and to bring a sonic groove to the drums. We have known each other for a long time and we felt that we all would benefit from working together. So now, we will start the work on our follow-up to A Bright Celestial Light." The Moth Gatherer is recommended for fans of Neurosis, Pelican, Breach and Cult Of Luna. If you haven't yet heard their album you can do this now at Bandcamp. Link
