The goth'n'roll Finns The 69 Eyes just announced special celebratory shows for their 25th anniversary. Yes, Helsinki vampires are celebrating their 25th birthday and you can see them playing this September on Friday September 6th in Sibelius House in Lahti and on Saturday, September 6th in Tavastia, Helsinki, where they'll be playing two shows – one from 16:00 to 19:00 and the second one that starts at 20:00 CET. At Tavastia club shows there will also be a special guest, DJ Kurt Amacker from New Orleans, who also created a very special comic book, entitled The 69 Eyes: Helsinki vampires. Both shows at Tavastia have a special meaning for the band, since their biggest goal when the band was formed in September 1989 was to play at that very club and already managed to do so just a few months after the band was formed. The band also noted that the afternoon show at Tavastia will be n ''all ages show'', so that also the teenage fans of the band could go and see them – in the words of the band they decided to do so, since they were all teenagers when they started out as the outfit we know today as The 69 Eyes.
