KRAKOW - New Lyric Video released

Norwegian experimental post-metallers Krakow released a brand new lyric video for the track "Luminauts". The track is taken out of bands latest album, Amaran, which was released in 2015 by Dark Essence Records. With its dream-like soundscapes interspersed with harsher, more sinister atmospheres and an experimental, drone feel, certain tracks on the album were always going to lend themselves to visualization. It is one of these tracks - the album opener "Luminauts" - that Krakow have chosen to make into a lyric video. The result is an extraordinary blend of music and visuals that are combined to create a piece of art that exudes mystery and, it has to be said, has a quasi-mystical feel.
Talking about the video, the band had this to say: "The lyric video for "Luminauts" was an initiative by Polish video artist Marcin Halerz from Red Pig Productions (Hate, Voodoo Gods, Saratan, Decapitated, Kampfar,...), and his creative thoughts led us to choose this particular track. The musical and lyrical themes throughout the song represent the band's contrasting sides, and this was interpreted with grace by Mr. Halerz. It is indeed a visual concretization of a band that often veers off into the abstract, and a significantly different, and fascinating, way to experience a Krakow song."
