Band: Peter Bjärgö
Album title: Animus Retinentia
Release date: 1 March 2017
Label: Cyclic Law

Peter Bjärgö, the founder of Swedish neo-classical darkwave group Arcana (1994-present) and industrial project Sophia (1998-present) started his solo endeavour doing a split with Gustaf Hildebrand called Out Of The Darkening Light, Into The Bright Shadow in 2005. On this album ritualistic drum beats and an acoustic guitar with melodies that are enough to leave you in tears enter your surrounding, whilst Peter's deep vocals could lull you into a place from your past that you miss or things you wish that would heal. Peter Bjärgö has created his finest solo effort to date. This album will take you on a ride through grey heavens and some victory over the sadness towards the end.
