Italian singer/songwriter Tamara Macera, aka Calliope, has released a new single and video "Creatura Migliore". Calliope is lending her beautiful mezzo-soprano voice to this semi-acoustic darkened power-pop ballad. The video was directed by Ottavio Proietti and you can watch it in the player below.

Calliope’s project is a journey of rediscovery of aggressive sounds and hermetic texts. Word use is fundamental, while a distinctive tonality gives space to a serious and full-bodied voice. Each song does not tap into specific themes; rather, everything is detached from the social and sentimental dimension, and pointing to the expression of some truth. The same applies to music: never transcending the words and becoming its servant. Link
