  • Print

The prog/goth rock recording collective Secondhand Depression, has released a brand new video for the track "Victims Of A Victimless Crime". The track is taken from their self-titled EP, which was released in 2020 but it will be re-released on the 28th of January 2022 on physical editions. Secondhand Depression is composed of Lucas Di Mascio (Malacoda) and Michael Farina (Wolf Saga, ex-Farewell To Freeway).

Secondhand Depression comments: "This opening track reminds me of the more punk and goth rock styled music I listened to as a teenager. Type O Negative, Danzig, Sex Pistols, etc. I think this was the first song I used my Placid Audio microphones on, the drums in the verses have that lo-fi sound that I'm really into. I think this song is a good introduction to us."

They have also put out some information on the re-release including a never before released cover of Tiamat's "Cain" and a supplementary drum sample library for recording enthusiasts. Link
