The USA-based post-black/doom metallers Altars Of The Moon have unveiled the first single and video, "G.O.D. Initiative", from their forthcoming sophomore album, The Colossus And The Widow, slated for release on 17 November via Disorder Recordings on vinyl and digitally.

The video for "G.O.D. Initiative" was created by Heath Rave, who writes of the song. "An enslaved demigod rattles across galaxies with a system devouring singularity, chained to its ethereal celestial body. If you wish not to exist on Earth when it's razed into dust, here's the soundtrack for abusing yourself to Event Horizon on repeat for a ninety-six-hour stimulant binge until your weak human shell no call/no shows being alive. Take this job and shove it."
