Today, on Tamara Picardo's birthday, atmospheric dark metal project Upon Shadows released its eighth album, Poetica, via Ground Media Group in digital and physical formats, including a digipack version with a 20-page booklet.

Infusing a unique blend of melodies set in waltz times, dirty distortions, synthesizers, and choir harmonies, Poetica promises a captivating listening experience. The album brings together an array of sounds: from whispers and guttural voices to a song presented in Spanish, all intertwined with themes of melancholy, darkness, and chaos.
