French sludge/doom outfit Verdun have completed work on their debut album, a follow-up to their sold out debut EP The Cosmic Escape Of Admiral Masuka, which was released on vinyl, CD and tape via Throatruiner Records, Head Records and Lost Pilgrims Records. Verdun's unique brand of devastating sludge/doom made an impression through 80 live shows all across Europe (sharing the stage with Electric Wizard, Eyehategod, Pallbearer, Yob, Ken Mode and more). The record is currently being mixed and mastered by Tad Doyle (Yob, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, Lumbar...) and is set for a tentative release later this year. Link
