Clan Of Xymox - Matters Of Mind, Body And Soul: Colourless stories of love, loss and grief, which Matters Of Mind, Body And Soul deliver, are again so deeply dreary and momentarily even ghastly; exactly what we want and expect from Clan Of Xymox. With the signature dark-electo-meets-classic-goth-rock formula, this album is a nocturnal voyage through soul-touching, yet slightly deranged and distorted soundscapes of strange melancholy. Matters Of Mind, Body And Soul will not let your mind at ease and will touch your soul, as it dissociates from your body, giving you chills as a ghostlike shadow of your most profound fears is taking over you. Surely a must have album for everyone who fancy some good old electro-goth vibes. Links: Website, Facebook

Enthroned - Sovereigns: The band, which doesn’t need any introduction to the black metal fandom, is just like a bottle of good wine – it gets better with age. Year of experience, since the band was formed back in 1993, really show in its music, as its latest work of art, Sovereigns, is a mature, intelligent and quite sophisticated album. With the addition of minimalistic incorporation of Gregorian chants and spoken parts within some songs, the album emits a primary black metal energy: dreadful, mystical and spiritualistic. Helevorn - Compassion Forlorn: Following the path established with their previous two albums, Helevorn with the new album brings a couple of new things. Helevorn swear to interlaces between crushing slow doom, mid paced metal, emotional and warm passages. The sound is dense and rich, with beautiful catchy melodies, stunning harmonized guitars, effective strong drums, plus simply intense and well balanced massive driving rhytmic lines, it has a drive and pathos that hooks the listeners. Compassion Forlorn is a musical vision of process of the loss of all feelings once produced by humankind. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook

Nothing - Guilty Of Everything: Peering into the depths of Guilty Of Everything is like watching a caterpillar metamorphose into a beautiful butterfly. The only thing Nothing are guilty of is delivering a stupendous debut, combining distorted shoegaze trip-like sound, punchy punk-rock vibe, diminishing hardcore influence and shivering post-metal features. Mesmerizing, elegant and loud. Links: Website, Facebook

Sarcophagic - Birth Of The Betrayer: Punishing industrial beats, agonizing shrieking tormented and electrified vocals, crushing guitar riffs and profound bass lines guides the listener through digitalized assault of sounds, especially in the first ten tracks Sarcophagic doesn't leave any space for some sparks. Birth Of The Betrayer is a modern, well structured and decadent piece of sonic art, with a soundscape that has one foot in metal and the other one in industrial, it conjures a brutal, yet atmospheric catchy sonic madness. The Dreamside - Sorrow Bearing Tree: Sorrow Bearing Tree is one of those monumental albums that must have its deserved special place. The Dreamside are a very matured band, beign active for more than 20 years and must be proud of what they are composing and performing. Kemi Vita is absolutely one of the best female singers in the metal/gothic scene, there's no doubt about this. Add to all this very interesting and thoughtful lyrics, plus a top notch production, everything wrapped into great artwork and there you go. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook

Thot - The City That Disappears: Thot’s music is distinguished by smoothly messy aestheticism, combining various elements, which coexists in the most serene musical symbiosis. The City That Disappears will carry you on a voyage of spaced-out soundscapes, which radiate delicacy and a strong punk-rock vibe at the same time. The city may have disappeared, but Thot’s music will not, as it will surely live fingerprints on the music scene, which will not disappear easily. Read a review HERE. Links: Website, Facebook
