Belgian act Your Life On Hold will release an EP titled Imprisoned And Exorcised on Friday, 2 April. EP will be available in digital form on Bandcamp and all other digital platforms. Your Life On Hold was established in 2017 by John Wolf. While drenching the guitars in dreamy ambient effects, John Wolf finally forged a new sound that would become the blueprint of the melancholic Your Life On Hold music. In September 2017, his soaring, gloomy, overall melancholic yet powerful debut album Burning For The Ancient Connection was released. In November 2018, a sophomore album My Name Is Legion For We Are Many followed, and in 2020, Your Life On Hold first released three tracks Lockdown EP in April, and six months later, another full-length album Echoes From The Bardo, also released via Solar Lodge.

For the upcoming Imprisoned And Exorcised EP,  Your Life On Hold chose a different approach, with more electronics and drum machines in the style of Sisterhood’s Gift or Sisters’ Floodland. With an obvious wink, Your Life On Hold likes to call these alternative takes "merciless versions"; no further explanation needed. The demo for "Imprisoned" from the current album Echoes From The Bardo originally had a rattling drum machine that is why it didn’t make it into the final album version. To complete the EP, Your Life On Hold added a shorter radio edit with an industrial flavour of the track "Exorcism" from the debut album Burning For The Ancient Connection.
