BÁL - Releases A New Album

Hungarian single-man act Bál self-released a new ten-tracks full-length titled Tánc on 14 July, available on Bandcamp. Bál was formed by Bálint Rósz in 2017, and in just four years released an admirable musical opus.

Bál states about the Tánc record: "I can tell you that, this is a common different sounding album what you could get used to through the years. For the people who don't know me, you should know that I haven't ever use the same atmosphere on two different albums, demos or EPs because the number one priority for me is to mirror the perfect reflection of my mind and soul. On the other hand, the experimenting is continuous and I'm still on the path of finding the ideal form but I feel I'm really close, closer than ever." And further: "The title Tánc means dance in English, my artist name could be translated as carnival if we want to translate it literally. So the core of a carnival is dancing in my opinion, if we are reading these as symbols, we could realise that it could have been a self-titled album, based on this theory. Finally, could I ask something like, 'I've found my perfect way to express myself with this album?' The answer is easy. I'm half a step away from the final form of Bál but I could say that as well, I reached it but I haven't realized it yet. This doesn't mean that I won't compose anything like raw-black or dark trip-hop, this means that this will be my main path to move forward."

As in his latest releases, he cooperated with several musicians and artists like Smara Kand, Far From Everything, Marla Van Horn, Shaytan, his father György Rósz and his sister Anna Rósz, who is a co-creator and model on the Tánc album cover. Listen to the Tánc in the player below. Link
