ALPHAXONE & XERXES THE DARK - Teamed Up On A Collaborative Album, Opening Track Available For Streaming

Two Iranian dark ambient artists, Alphaxone and Xerxes The Dark, have teamed up to create a new album, Aftermath, which will be released on 6th November through Cryo Chamber. Aftermath is an unsettling space ambient with dark swells, pulsating shimmers and endless reverberations that greets you on this exploration of dark space. Design and mastering was done by Simon Heath (Atrium Carceri, Sabled Sun).
The stars shine far more potently here than back on earth. To think that an ancient tablet buried in Babylon led you here, to these stranger suns! Your orange hazmat suit crackles with each laboured step on this jagged alien world. The science team wave you over and gesture towards a towering black monolith on a grey horizon - the signal came from there? As you approach the titanic structure a low-frequency hum, emanating from somewhere within its chrysalic surface, grows stronger. The cold electric blue of your HUD dances madly, glitching, and the survey equipment beeps furiously. Contact.
To get in this dark cosmic mood before the official release you can taste it by listening the album opener, "Ancient Amulet", in the player below. The album is available for pre-orders at this location. Link
