Polish black metal act Kalt Vindur have premiered "In Silence", the third single lifted from their forthcoming fourth full-length, The Void Of Time, which arrives on 27 November through The Circle Music on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
Formed in 2015 in Dukla, southern Poland, Kalt Vindur have steadily established themselves as one of the more distinctive names emerging from the country's black metal underground. Combining raw intensity, melody and atmosphere, the group have forged a sound often referred to as "subcarpathian black metal".
Following the release of their debut record Delusions (2017) and the critically praised And Nothing Is Endless (2020), the Polish act entered a new phase in 2023 after signing with Greek label The Circle Music. That partnership led to the arrival of Magna Mater (2024), a release widely regarded as a pivotal moment in the band's artistic development.
Expanding on the foundations laid by Magna Mater, The Void Of Time further sharpens Kalt Vindur's musical identity. Rooted firmly in black metal while embracing strong songwriting, evocative melodies and emotional depth, the upcoming collection balances aggression with atmosphere and presents what may be the band's most cohesive and mature material to date. Darkness and melancholy intertwine with a sense of grandeur, resulting in an immersive and compelling listening experience.
The Void Of Time was produced by Artur Szydło and Krzysztof Kokosiński, who also oversaw mixing and mastering. Lyrics were penned by Wojciech Kozub, while all music was composed by Artur Szydło. Drum and vocal recordings took place with Grzegorz Gnat at Regnat Audio Studio in Cieklin. The artwork was created by acclaimed artist Maciej Kamuda, with layouts and additional visual work handled by Paweł Kuranda. Link
