Slovenian extreme/industrial metallers Noctiferia have announced that their long-time vocalist Giani Poposki has left the band due to personal reasons.
The band had this to say: "We would like to announce Giani's departure from Noctiferia due to his personal reasons and want to thank him for 20+ years of sharing the left hand path with us. It was a wild ride! We wish him all the best in the future."
Giani commented: "Dear friends and supporters, with a heavy heart I want to announce that after more than two decades I am ending my musical chapter with the band Noctiferia. The band was my home and passion, but due to personal reasons I have to say goodbye. I wish to continue my musical journey in other genres and explore new creative paths. Thank you to everyone who worked with us and supported us on our musical journey. Thanks also to the boys and all the participating musicians at this time. It was a good journey! Peace."
Giani joined Noctiferia in 2002, and with him, the band released five albums, Slovenska Morbida (2006), Death Culture (2010), Pax (2014), Transnatura (2016) and the latest one, Reforma - Tribute To Laibach (2021). Link
