Sweden's gothic rock act Scheitan has released a new single, "Heaven Tonight", offering a fresh dose of melancholic yet danceable gothic rock ahead of its upcoming album set for release later this year.

The track is a gloomy yet upbeat goth song with strong melodies, a danceable rhythm, and a chorus to remember. Scheitan returns with a compelling composition again, which will also feature on the band's upcoming album, set for release later this year.

"The song has a dual message. 'Heaven Tonight' could be the feeling of spending the evening with that special person you love, but it could also describe that last night before leaving this earthly prison we all spend our lives in", comments Scheitan's mastermind Pierre Törnkvist.

A video for the song is currently in production, created by German photo artist Annie Bertram, known for her work with Blutengel and She Hates Emotions.

"'Heaven Tonight' is also being remixed for all the gothic club people to enjoy. The remix will be done by none other than Asbury Heights' mastermind CJ, and is set to be released by the end of May", Pierre adds.

The new single was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Soilwork, etc.) and mastered at LANDR. Link
