German melancholic electro-pop act Wiegand will release on 20th December the debut album entitled Released. The first single, "Floating Away", is already out of the box and you can hear it in the player below.
Wiegand is a branchild of Helge Wiegand who is known well in the dark electro scene as a live back vocalist/keyboarder for Diorama since 2013, and later he was also invited to join the band t.o.y. as a full time member.
Wiegand's debut album, Released, will for sure sneak into listeners ears as soft as snow flakes falling down. Wiegand's intention is to interpret own experiences and views in a musical way; planting pictures and merciless catchy tunes into the listener's head. His songwriting is of electrical nature, pop-oriented,80s influenced, sometimes softly melancholic, piano-based, but always highly melodic with a dose of "edge“. Link
