Hailing from the moors above Manchester, the post-punks Stepford Wives emerge from a lockdown with a new single and lyric video "All On Me". Stepford Wives blend post-punk attitude with a 21st century outlook and combine youthful optimism with mercurial wisdom to serve up raucous, intelligent guitar music that packs a powerful punch. Their distinctive, post-punk vocals, incredible drumming, mesmerising bass-playing and melodic guitar riffs combine to make an unforgettable set brimming with raw energy.
In 2019, the band released their first single, "Follow This Way". Thanks to this track and their raw, energetic gigs, Stepford Wives quickly caught the attention of radio stations, promoters and the press. "I Can't Fight", the bands second single, made Indie Rocks Radio Top Ten Singles of 2019 and Louder Than War called them Ones to watch 2020.
After signing a development deal with Salfords A1M Records, the band are looking forward to releasing their four track EP, taking their incredible live show on the road, and making 2020 their year. Link
