Italian synth-pop trio Nova Lumen will release their debut album entitled Assurdo Universo on 1st October via Gente Bella/Costello's. Bands music is about drum-machines, suffused voices, guitars and walls of synth. The band was born in Turin in 2011 and are influenced by the electronic music of the first Battiato's works, from the analog sounds of the "Dark Disco Empire" of Johnny Jewel and from the school of Julian Casablancas, they bring to life an imaginary made of humanity, space, eternity and loneliness. The band has already released two EPs, Lumen, self-released, in 2012 and Correnti, released in January 2013 via Deer Waves Records.
