IN THE WOODS... - Announces European Mini Tour In August

Legendary Norwegians In The Woods... are pleased to announce an European mini-tour in support of their first album release in 16 years.
In The Woods... began in Norway in 1992, amidst the explosion of the scandinavian black metal scene. They were the first to break away from the orthodoxy of black metal, and by the time their debut album was released, they had already cast the restrictive label aside. Two experimental and progressive metal albums followed, owing as much to 70s psychedelia as to metal and they ceased activity in 1999.
In 2014, In The Woods... reformed, consisting of the core members Anders Kobro (drums), twin brothers Christopher and Christian Botteri (bass and guitar). They were joined by English musician James Fogarty (vocals, guitars and keys) and the stunning new album Pure was completed. The live band is completed by live musicians Kare (guitar) and Job (keys).
A few weeks ago, In The Woods... and Debemur Morti Productions gave you the unmissable opportunity to (re)discover the three otherworldly classics released by the band 1995-1999. Indeed, the French label has reunited masterpieces Heart Of The Ages, Omnio and Strange In Stereo for the first time in a luxurious coffret 6x12"LP box set and 3xCD box set. As befits the label, the result is simply sumptuous. Both boxes (CD and LP) are encased in a beautiful slipcase with textured heavy black carton and contain, among other things, brand new artwork realized by the ultra-talented Dehn Sora, lyrics and an exclusive in-depth band story/interview by Yngve M. Jacobsen contained in a substantial book (+60 pages).
This coming August, In The Woods... bring their unique and original sound to life in the following locations listed on the flyer below. As a support band is choosen the Japanese avantgarde black metal outfit Sigh. Link
