This video pictures a Kinbaku (Japanese bondage) performance in a way never seen before. While the song is about the story of Jan Palach (czechoslovak student who commited self-immolation in 1969 in Prague as a political protest against the end of the Prague Spring and to protest against the "demoralization" of Czechoslovak citizens caused by the occupation by the Warsaw Pact armies), the music video is to explore the meaning of freedom and sacrifice, through multiple Kinbaku performances, including Grégoire Fray himself, who's been roped for the first time in his life. A vibrating homage to everyone standing against terror.
Video was directed by Grégoire Fray and Gil Chevigné, and you can watch it in the player below.
This week The Hills Mover also starts the European Fall Tour 2016 in Amsterdam (NL) and if you have a chance don't miss one of the shows, you can check tour dates at this location. Link
