VARSOVIE - Announces Release Of Their Third Full-Length

French post-punk/dark rock duo Varsovie will release their new and third album entitled Coups et Blessures on 11th May via Sundust Records.
The band was formed in 2005 by Arnault Destal (drums, lyrics, music, arrangements) and Grégory Catherina (vocals, guitar, music). After the first demo in 2005 that allowed them to win dates in France, Varsovie released the EP Neuf Millimètres in 2006 and began to tour abroad, including playing the Drop Dead Festival in Prague, the Crimson Night in Münster or at the Creeper Fest in Vilnius. In 2010 they released the album Civil Status, on Infrastition Records, recorded at the Drudenhaus Studio. The group continues to play frequently in Europe, from Estonia to Italy, via Romania and England, and comes out in the wake of a remarkable recovery of Siekiera, a group emblematic of the Polish post-punk scene. 80 years.
In 2015, the band released their second album L'Heure et la Trajectoire on Infrastition Records and Those Opposed Records. Varsovie now has more than a hundred dates on different European stages. In 2017, released the official music video of "Lydia Litvak" from this album, shot in Lithuania by Rytis Titas, and signed in the wake with Sundust Records, before recording in autumn the third album Coups et Blessures.
Between dark rock and post-punk, always on texts in French and a line at once nervous and melancholy, these nine new titles continue to reformulate the vertigo of the time through certain singular figures, echoing historical crises or intimate having left traces. No message to transmit, otherwise try to make sense with the weapons available. A short video teaser is available in the player below. Link
