The USA-based experimental project from Gabriel Palacio, Antimozdebeast, is preparing to delve further into otherworldly realms in the forthcoming album, The Alien Machine, set to land on 17 January 2025. Antimozdebeast draws heavily from industrial, heavy and electronic music in the creation of dynamic and dissonant soundscapes. In The Alien Machine, the door is thrown open to further genres and styles in the exploration of our modern life.
The Alien Machine's track listing presents an uncanny demonstration of chaos and serenity carefully crafted through chord progressions, highly textural synths and rhythmic beats form immersive atmospheres. Contradictions of light and shade are present between the tracks and also within them, as seen through "War Dance" and "Sanctuary", which mirror the same chaotic motif through different perspectives. In The Alien Machine, Antimozdebeast transports the listener to another dimension to reveal the dark and hectic nature of our world.
The heavy industrial project Antimozdebeast emerged in 2019 in New York, the brainchild of Gabriel Palacio. Now Florida-based, Antimozdebeast pushes boundaries by producing discordant soundscapes fusing electronics and beats with thunderous industrial metal. Primary musical influences include Nin, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Rob Zombie and A Perfect Circle, which are drawn into Palacio's exploration of nightmarish themes, often creating a commentary on the darker side of our world. Opening the door to incorporate further genre influences, Antimozdebeast produces an ever more intriguing take on the human experience. Link
