Astari Nite's fifth studio album, Resolution Of Happiness, will see the light of day on 21 June through Negative Gain Productions. The set will be available on vinyl and all digital platforms.
With a blend of shadowy atmospheres, powerful rhythms, and innovative soundscapes, Astari Nite invites listeners into a world where conventional boundaries dissolve and where the unexpected thrives. Resolution Of Happiness transcends traditional genres, showcasing nineties-inspired alternative music with darkwave, industrial and glam elements.
Another big inspiration for this collection of songs is friendship; frontman Mychael says: "Fortunate am I, to have the friends that I have! Knowing that the mates and I were writing an album, some of them would drop in to say hello on circus day. I think if you listen closely enough to 'Tongue Tied Galore' you may catch some heavy chain smoking and loud chit chatting going on. My friends seem to be the loudest people I have ever met. Their love means so much to me and has influenced quite a bit of the mood on Resolution Of Happiness". He adds: "I guess you can say other people's lives caught up with me during the process of writing Resolution Of Happiness. My brother and Father both passed away! It was a strange period mentally for me. I didn't know what was wrong or what was right at certain times. I just knew that I needed help and this album along with spending time with my bandmates traveling and playing shows saved my life".
