Slovenian Cadlag, an uncompromising collective that fuses noise, drone, experimental electronic music, ambient, grindcore, and hardcore into a visceral sound experience, is excited to announce its new album, Tensor. Cadlag's latest sonic exploration of nine immersive tracks pushes the boundaries of sonic destruction and reconstruction, delivering a raw, spatial, and deeply physical listening experience and will see the light of day on 7 May via Pharmafabrik.
Recorded in diverse resonant environments - from church cathedrals to World War I caverns and industrial sites - Tensor captures the spectral imprint of each space, transforming them into instruments themselves. True to Cadlag's commitment to analogue sound, the album was recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely through analogue methods and is available on 7-inch reel-to-reel tape, CD, and high-resolution digital format.
Sprouted from Slovenian soil, Cadlag has established itself as one of the most mesmerising and unrelenting forces in contemporary noise and drone music. The four members, hailing from different locations, converge into a singular live entity, merging their eclectic influences to craft a profound aural and visual experience. Their performances transcend mere concerts, evolving into immersive encounters that simultaneously elevate and ground the listener in a state of sonic rapture. Link
