Nearly five decades into their existence, legendary goth rock/deathrock pioneers Christian Death remain as unsettling, provocative, and culturally disruptive as ever. The founding architects of American goth are set to return to the road next month, leading the ‘Baby Bats Parade’ across more than 20 U.S. cities.
Fronted by long‑standing creative core Valor Kand and Maitri, Christian Death will be joined by an impressive lineup of support acts: Gene Loves Jezebel, Descartes A Kant, and Black Season Witch, each adding their own flavour to a tour steeped in dark‑music history.
The trek begins on 3 June in St. Louis, Missouri, and concludes on 28 June in Worcester, Massachusetts. Fans can expect a career‑spanning setlist that reaches deep into the band’s four‑decade legacy, including material from their most recent album, Evil Becomes Rule — a record that reaffirmed Christian Death’s enduring ability to provoke, challenge, and mesmerise.
With nearly fifty years behind them and no sign of slowing down, Christian Death continue to haunt stages and subvert expectations, proving once again why their influence on goth, deathrock, and the wider dark‑alternative world remains unmatched. Link
