Austrian Dornenreich have announced a string of acoustic concerts under the heading "Unser Flügelschlag" (The Beat of Our Wing) in Austria and Germany for November this year. See the live dates below.
Dornenreich, joined by Alpine metal act Vinsta as special guests, will present a selection of their works spanning all of the band's creative periods, including their current ninth full-length, Du wilde Liebe sei, in select places. The interplay between dynamics, delicate nuances, and intensity lends another level of depth and authenticity to the acoustic reworkings of their songs.
Vocalist Eviga comments: "After quite some time of retreat, and in Gilvan's case, even recovery, this tour marks our conscious return. The title of our tour, 'Unser Flügelschlag', alludes to our first demo, Mein Flügelschlag, that was released in 1997. It draws a line from our beginnings to our current situation, which feels akin to a new start. To us, these concerts mean more than just another tour". Link
