2024 has been a successful year for Leicester's prog rock/post-metal phenomenon Final Coil; a year of firsts - its first major feature in Prog magazine, its first appearance at Bloodstock Festival and now the band has announced its first European live dates. This December the band will head to France and Belgium for a trio of dates that will take the incredible Final Coil live experience to new territories, stages and audiences.
Final Coil's frontman Phil Stiles has shared his thoughts on the upcoming EU shows: "Despite having recorded our first two albums in Italy, this is our first opportunity to play mainland Europe and we hope that it paves the way for bigger trips in the future. 2024 has been an amazing journey for us so far - the release of our third album, The World We Inherited, the London launch show, and our Bloodstock debut have all been milestones for the band - and this feels like the perfect way to cap the year. I want to give very special thanks to Below The Sun, whose invitation to play Paris kicked this whole thing off; Once Upon The End, who so kindly organised the Rouen show; Rudi Claeys, who found us the Ghent show; and Far Beyond, who stepped in to provide backline. We're working on a career-spanning setlist now, and we're looking forward to making new friends in France and Belgium in December". Link
