Norway's gothic/industrial titan Gothminister has confirmed 16 October as the release date for the new opus We Are All Demons, and has unveiled the video single "The Dark". The album will be released via The Orchard.
A dark and atmospheric piece, "The Dark" recounts the tale of a couple: she leads him deep into the forest to reveal that she must leave him — and this life — behind. Left alone, he discovers a grave and uncovers a demon child within. The track channels this haunting narrative through a potent fusion of guitars, drums, EDM and dubstep elements, all wrapped in Gothminister's signature hypnotic and cinematic sound. The result is a composition that is beautiful, intense, and profoundly dark.
For the first time, the entire album has been recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered solely by Bjørn Alexander Brem, delivering the raw, uncompromising sonic vision he has always envisioned.
This 11-track album plunges into the depths of our inner darkness, revealing that we all carry demons beneath the surface. Through its bold thematic arc, the album urges listeners to confront their darkness, embrace strength within it, and emerge fearless.
Musically, We Are All Demons offers a powerful fusion of gothic industrial metal and modern EDM elements. Expect ferocious synths, thunderous drums, and industrial guitars that cut like steel. Screaming vocals intertwine with female duets, soaring operatic passages, and grand choral sections — all culminating in a dark yet beautiful atmosphere that feels both unifying and complete. This is not merely an album; it is a monumental sonic journey, further cementing Gothminister's iconic status.
The upcoming record also features previously released singles such as "The Spell", "Welcome To Hell", "Darkest Side Of Earth", and "Darkness Is My Throne" — some of which can be found by following the links HERE. Link
