Uruguayan alternative/industrial rock duo Korax MVD returns with their new album, Eidolon, out now on all digital platforms. Released together with the video for the opening track, "Ámbar", the record offers a deeply personal and cinematic journey through themes of time, identity, and the things we lose along the way.
Eidolon—meaning apparition or phantom—centres on the moments and memories that linger once everything else is gone. The songs on the album move between swirling synths, heavy guitars, and honest, emotional vocals, creating a soundscape that feels immersive and real. Every track feels like a piece of an internal world, capturing the tension between memory and imagination with dark melodies and poetic lyrics.
The band on the new album: "Eidolon represents the mirror between what we once were and what still remains in shadow. It's a journey through time, memory, and the ghosts we carry within and represents where the band is today". Link
