Post-punk/goth artist Mekong has released a brand new single and video "Ice Cold". This is the second single from the upcoming album entitled Danse Danse, which will be released in May via Icy Cold Records. Mekong, a Portuguese resident in Krakow (Poland), skillfully blends elements of dark post-punk with influences from the British gothic culture of the 80s. The music is characterized by hypnotic bass lines, atmospheric guitars, and melancholic synth sounds.
The production of the new track was handled by himself, while the mastering was in the experienced hands of Greg Toma. Pedro Viernes did the video, it was recorded at Jazz Rock Cafe in Krakow, and the actress is Liudmyla Radyk. It’s minimal yet powerful with strong bass lines and echoing guitar sounds all over. Link
