Italian act Of The Muses, a solo-project of Cristina Rombi, who will release a new album, Underheavens— Of Blood, Ghosts And Saltwater, via My Kingdom Music on 25 April, released second single, "Pilgrimage". The new single, like the first one, "The In-Between Was A Fever Dream", further shows Of The Muses' clear distancing from black metal.
With "Pilgrimage", Cristina Rombi, proves her point, searching and finding new ways to sound like herself by uncovering the deeper, primal layers of her musical identity, and refusing to be called as a "black metal one-woman band" anymore.
Of The Muses' new album is recommended to fans of The Gathering, Mercury Rev, The 3rd And The Mortal, Garbage, Manic Street Preachers, Lush, and Emma Ruth Rundle. The previously released single, "The In-Between Was A Fever Dream", and more info can be found over HERE. Link
