German symphonic black metal act Suffering Souls has set 31 May as the release date for its new full-length, An Iconic Taste Of Demise, and unleashed the first single/lyric video, "From Hubris To Demise". The upcoming ten-track record will come out via Satanath Records and Fetzner Death Records.
It's been 30 years since the foundation in 1994, over five years of creative break after the last fourth album, In Synergy Obscene - Germany's Suffering Souls now continues to strive for new heights to please the audience with the fifth album, An Iconic Taste Of Demise, entirely written by mastermind Tobias "Lord Esgaroth" Micko, to take you into his otherworldly and unholy visions.
An Iconic Taste Of Demis, which was recorded in the legendary Hertz Studio in Poland, where Behemoth, Vader and Hate, among others, have already produced, features multi-instrumentalist Tobias "Lord Esgaroth" Micko with the refined sound of all classical instruments, lead guitars and clear, choral vocals, create a powerful and imposing, aggressive atmosphere that has never existed before in the work of the project. An Iconic Taste Of Demise, on which the drums were played by Michiel van der Plicht (Pestilence), reveals a dark and sinister identity. It contains ten brand-new songs, including an eight-minute symphonic masterpiece as a bonus track, and will be released initially as a digipack and later as an LP version. An Iconic Taste Of Demise is an unmissable piece of black art that enchants and puts the band on the German symphonic black metal throne. Link
