L.A.-based dark electronics act Thief has released the charity project With Love To Los Angeles via Bandcamp, which includes the bespoke 34-minute ambient set that mastermind Dylan Neal performed live at Prophecy Fest 2024 – and also an outtake from its latest album, Bleed, Memory, called "Mnemosyne" and the instrumental tracks, "Cinderland" and "Behemouth", which are, in their original version, featured on Thief's latest record.

100% of the funds (after deducting the Bandcamp fee) will be donated to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund, which focuses on relief and recovery resources for the most underserved and hard-to-reach communities affected by the Los Angeles wildfire conflagration.

Thief's mastermind, Dylan Neal, appeals: "Los Angeles is my home, and while I am safe, everybody around me knows someone close to them who has lost their home and everything they own. As I write this, the Palisades, the Eaton, and other of the multiple fires are consuming entire neighborhoods, leaving thousands homeless and afraid. This is also far from over. The question must arise in oneself, 'how can I help?'. Sometimes we can affect major change, sometimes we can only contribute a drop in the bucket. I would like to extend the opportunity to all of you to not only help but also get some sick music in the process. Many bows and thanks to you, dear listener!"

The thrilling latest Thief's album, Bleed, Memory, hit stores on 19 April 2024. The Los Angeles-based experimental electronic project with strong ties to the Californian black metal scene has once again atomised sacred chants and reordered the sonic particles into breathtaking songs. Link
