French alternative/goth metal band Dxvxdxd Sxlf released a brand new video for the track "Spiritual Beggars". The track is taken from their recently released debut EP titled Of Wolves & Men. It's the most heavy and mid tempo on Of Wolves & Men, the introduction samples are a tribute to Andrei Tarkovsky's Nostalghia, movie that has also influenced the lyrics talking about the thin veil between life and death, love and madness. It has been shoot in black and white, showing the hazards of the band from filthy drunkenness to more spiritual experiences.
Dxvxdxd Sxlf (pronounced Divided Self) were founded in 2016 by Adam DSX and multi-instrumentalist Guillaume Smiley (Ad Vacuum), who were quickly joined by their friends Alec Hourvari (Soyfutures, ex-The Divergents) a singer/guitarist/arranger and Ludy Wotton (Fatass) as drummer. Their songs are eclectic, a kind of meeting between Paradise Lost, Mastodon, Pain and Megadeth to quote only those great bands. Their influences are that wide and they don't bother to create at the edge of various genres. From Deftones to Dimmu Borgir, from The Cure to IAMX. Watch the new video in the player below, and over HERE you can check out previously released video for the track "Under The Gaze Of Christ". Link
