KRIGERE WOLF - New Album Out In April, Details Revealed

Catania (Italy) based black/death metal band Krigere Wolf will release their sixth effort entitled Eternal Holocaust on 1st april via Polish label Lower Silesian Stronghold. Eternal Holocaust is the new sonic assault by Sicilian blacksters Krigere Wolf. After having explored many different areas of extreme music during their ten years of existence, Krigere Wolf come back to their origins with a direct, in-your-face and no-frills release. The choice of the MCD format sounds like a declaration of intent, the album lasting less than thirty minutes: straight to the point.
There's no rest in the album track list, consisting of four new tracks sounding as a tribute to the whole black and death metal history, in addition there's featured also a cover version of Dissection's classic "Night's Blood". Scandinavian scene's archetypical freezing melodies of Marduk, Watain and Dissection are filtered by the post-apocalyptic atmospheres of the modern Polish scene led by Mgła and Kriegsmachine. On the other hand, mastermind Rick Costantino provides death metal influences reminding the works of Belphegor thanks to his restless drumming and solid bass lines, while Salvatore Leonardi's guitar virtuosity looks back to the classic heavy metal roots.
Session men Gabriele Catania and Valerio Cimino take care of the vocal duties, dealing with a number of styles from deep growling to an exasperated expressiveness. The will to reach a mature and complex sound is clear, but don't relax: the feral savagery of Eternal Holocaust will take no prisoners. Tracklist and front cover artwork are below. Link
