Seattle (USA) based avant doom metal bringers Eye Of Nix are eager to share "Concealing Waters" with you. This is the first single from their new album, Ligeia, which will be released on 19th June via Prophecy Productions.
The group asks listeners "to taste the river Lethe's oblivion, douse the anxious visions of cataclysm, pondering the future and feeling that no matter the outcome, it won’t end well. Concealing Waters is offered to you as solace, escape and renewal."
With its title invoking one of the sirens from Greek mythology who enticed humans to their demise, Ligeia is a harrowing yet thought-provoking record that lures the listener through storms and calm waters to the farthest frontiers of existence. The material was engineered and produced by Michael Zech (Secrets Of The Moon, The Ruins Of Beverast, Triptykon, Bölzer,...) and mastered by James Plotkin (Isis, Aluk Todolo, Nadja).
