Providence (USA) based industrial band Downcity Armory released today their first full-length album, The New Old World. A concept album about the end of America as we know it, the album has been almost six years in the making. The band released the music video for the first single "Abandon Hope" last month and you can watch it in the player below.
The album marks a triumphant return for the band, especially after vocalist and founder Todd Bowes suffered a stroke almost three years ago, which nearly derailed the album entirely. Leaving him partially paralyzed on his right side. After a period of recovery that lasted over two years, the band, now a duo after the departure of Cook and Keister, completed their debut full-length. Link
