Russian born artist Kariti has just released a new album trailer for the upcoming album entitled Covered Mirrors, which will be released via Aural Music on 8th September. Covered Mirrors is a collection of eight intimate stripped down mourning folk songs with crisp fingerstyle guitar and eerie vocal harmonies. The album was initially meant to be released in April, but due to logistical difficulties and overall uncertainty the world is currently facing Kariti decided to postpone it to september 2020.
Evocative lyrics in English and Russian explore various facets of death and parting. It was recorded and mixed on an old secluded countryside property in summer 2019. Watch the trailer below, and listen to the first revealed song "Sky Burial". Link
