From France comes one of the most original music that you'll have a chance to hear in a while. The mysterious band/project named Non Serviam presents an intruguing coctail of dark styles such as industrial, black metal, trip-hop, electro, doom, and yet more, everything wrapped into kind of a Baroque atmospheric sheet. And Non Serviam are here to release vengeance and freedom to the world.
Non Serviam make a proliferating and protean music that seems to want to flush out the light from the darkness and detect the darkness from the light. The influences range from Godflesh, Neurosis, Darkthrone and The Swans to Catharsis, Botch and Buried At Sea through Venetian Snares, PJ Harvey or Merzbow, but yet Non Serviam is nothing alike, it's a music disrupted by a complex composition, mysteriously accessible despite its unconventional character.
Just recently Non Serviam announced a new album, Le Coeur Bat, which is already done and band is looking for a label to release it. A new lyric video for the track "Salem" is released and you can hear it in the player below. This music, burning with urgency to explore varied and unheard sonic, verbal and rhythmic paths, unwinds the thread of its own uncompromising musical truth, constantly re-newed by an insatiable curiosity.
