OST+FRONT - Presents First Single And Lyric Video From Forthcoming Album

German power/industrial/electro/metal/goth act Ost+Front, one of the most important representatives of the so called "Neue Deutsche Härte", have released a brand new lyric video for the track "Ikarus". Thundering guitars, pounding beats, and blazing lyrics, Ost+Front celebrate their own trademarks and impressively demonstrate their supremacy in the "Neue Deutsche Härte". "Whoever wants Ost+Front, shall get Ost+Front. Always at the highest level. Always at the limit", vocalist Hermann Ostfront points the way forward. The band shows their concentrated strength on the upcoming album Dein Helfer in der Not.

Yes, the track "Ikarus" is taken from their forthcoming album entitled Dein Helfer in der Not, which will be released on 31st July via Out Of Line Music. Hermann Ostfront says about the song "Ikarus": "It's about exploring the boundaries. How far can I go? I don't want to be determined by others anymore. I feel locked up. In the process of the album, I experienced in my direct environment how someone goes from adolescence to adulthood. That can be really exhausting for everyone involved. Neither fish nor fowl. However, I was much worse in that phase."

Where other bands lose their bite over time, Ost+Front show their teeth: Dein Helfer in der Not is pure adrenaline for the ever-growing fan base and a provocative work of art that will surely infuriate one or the other. Between morbid stories and a sharp observation of the society, the songs play with the expectations of the listeners and, despite all the catchiness, are no easy ride: "We are the mirror of the society. Human abysses, social grievances, sexual boundaries, we speak out everything. An exquisite documentary masterpiece," comments Hermann. Listen now to "Ikarus" in the player below and get ready for more Ost+Front in the coming weeks. Link
