German post/doom metallers Ascian have announced the release of their debut album entitled Elysion on 2nd of October via Black Sunset. Featuring five massive tracks with a running time of 40 minutes where hopelessness and melancholy reigns, Elysion shall have no problem finding its fans somewhere between My Dying Bride and Alcest. This strong debut was produced, mixed and mastered by doom metal mastermind Déhà (Slow, Cult Of Erinyes and Merda Mundi) in the Opus Magnum Studios Brussels, with Déhà being a special guest on this album as well.
Ascian was formed in 2018 by the four musicians from Brunswick and Würzburg who gathered to sow misery, that will flow in endless streams combining inspirations from doom, black and post metal they create a unique sound of leaden vibes. Hopeless and gloomy, yet filled with a glimmer of melancholy that shines through the dark. Be prepared and leave all hope behind – Misery is ahead! More info soon! Link
