Greek martial industrial/neoclassical/ritual/dark ambient act Dark Awake will release on 6th November via Aesthetic Death a new album entitled Hekateion. It is presented in four tracks which are written as an accompaniment to an esoteric ritual and dark ambient expression to the goddess Hecate.
Dark Awake stands opposed to the cold sterility of today's modern world and promotes the ancient mysteries and heathen-spirit, aiming to rekindle those ancient values, and Hekateion is an album which is thematically based upon the ancient goddess of witchcraft Hecate.
Dark Awake formed in 2002 by Shelmerdine to express his philosophy and magical experiences. Since recently the line-up is completed by Sekte (female vocals). In the player below you can give a listen to an excerpt from the upcoming album. Link
