Venezuela based dark vampyric metal band Infestus have released a brand new EP titled Undead via Sleasy Rider Records. This is the second EP of this band that is highly influenced by the likes such as Moonspell, Rotting Christ, Cradle Of Filth, Tiamat and Theatres Des Vampires.
Infestus were formed back in 1997 by Felipe Foti, Neomar Apostol and Edgar Infante. Some months later, Eduardo Mejías joined the ranks of Infestus as the lead singer for playing what at that time was doom/death metal. The band released the first self-titled demo in 2004.
New shows, line-up changes and new big events happened in the band, but only during the last few years they reached a strong line-up with the participation of Carlos Luis guitar and voice, Óscar Castro guitars, and Carlos Azuaje on drums to share the stage with the only founding member that is Felipe Foti on guitars. After this consolidation of the line-up, new songs were finally composed and this time in English. It meant that the time had come for a new EP, so once again during the winter of 2017 Dresses Of Darkness was recorded and completed. Listen to the entire new EP, Undead, in the player below. Link
