French eclectic doomgaze/industrial/ambient/post metal band Ingrina just released a new single and video "Jailers". The song is taken from their upcoming second album entitled Siste Lys, which is set to be released on 27th November via labels A Tant Rêver Du Roi and Medication Time Records. Video for single "Jailers" was directed and edited by Adrien Dournel, and you can watch it in the player below.
The band comments: ""Jailers" takes place after the storm, the one that scatters all landmarks, that spreads the jailers in the air, amongst the particles of light and between the synapses. Vaporous specters, translucent veils, the jailers drift, driven by the winds. We breathe them every day with no arm, until their deep purpose is revealed, while we still believe they're dissolved forever in the dust of the sky. So they hastily turn into solid prisons with no horizon, feeding the illusion that they arose from nothing and nowhere."
Siste Lys, their second effort, picks up pieces of the previous album, depicting the reappearance of the jailers, the walls and the present. This dark veil conceals movement, and makes the last rays of light an ecstasy, the memory of which will have to fight to persist. Ingrina is the name of a remembrance, of a sensation of vital ecstasy that this civilization seeks to make the living forget. It is also the name of an escape. Link
