USA based gothic metallers Black Vatican have recently released a lyric video for the track "Vampiric Combat". The track is taken from their latest album, Arcana Lament, which was released in January this year as a self-release.
The band comments: "It describes a love that never came to be, between a vampire and a mortal. Their dream of reuniting ceased when the vampire clan saw their love as immoral. Thus, they must settle the dispute through combat."
Black Vatican formed in 2015 in the underground music scene of Kansas City. After many tests and trials, the band solidified its current line-up, with Erick Ramos on bass and lead vocals and Cole Roberts on lead guitar. Black Vatican’s sound can be described as symphonic gothic metal. Their music incorporates atmospheric elements while still maintaining brute blackened blast beats and rapid riffs. Their lyrics draw inspiration from a wide range of classic poetic sources, including Shakespeare and world mythology. Link
