UK's gothic rockers Rhombus just released a brand new single and video titled "Magnificent". This is the first single from their long awaited new album, Love Is The Answer, which will be released in March 2021. Love Is The Answer will be the band’s first full album since 2013’s award winning Here Be Dragons.
As 2020 began, Rhombus were preparing to release their long overdue new album. A launch party was set for July at the legendary Carpe Noctum club night in Leeds, with a string of other dates and events booked to support the release, but we all know what happened next!
Rather than “making muffins and moaning”, Ed, Rob, Alixandrea and Lee spent their time developing the new songs. Freed from the launch deadline, the band instead concentrated on creating a collection that felt diverse and exciting. When it came to recording, the band members felt a compulsion to do the songs justice and pushed themselves to deliver the best performances of their careers.
Mike Uwins from the legendary goth band Manuskript joined the team to mix the album. Seeing the potential of the piece, Mike pushed Rhombus even further, ensuring he had the performances he needed to produce what is on course to be the band’s best album to date.
