Istanbul (Turkey) based darkwave/post-punk duo Ductape just released their new album Labirent. After releasing their first EP Little Monsters in June 2020 their eight-song album went live now and is available for streaming in its entirety. This time the duo has two Turkish songs added to their album. The first single from the album, "Wooden Girl", was released in November with a video clip (you can check it out over HERE).
The contradictions, inner chaos and anger faced when confronting oneself form the general mood of the album. The fluctuating song traffic, sometimes the melodies stuck in the loop, are among the striking elements in the new sound of the duo. Labirent (labyrinth) is looking for a way out of this world of thoughts and chaos.
Mix and mastering of the album are done by the Blue House Studios in New Zealand and the cover art is designed by Cagla Guleray the singer and the synth player of the duo. A new video clip went live with the album as well for the song "Hata". Link
