ALKERDEEL - First Track From Upcoming Album Premiered Online

Belgian doomed black-metal group Alkerdeel have just unleashed the first audio sample from their forthcoming fourth album Slonk, which is set for release on 5th February via Babylon Doom Cult Records and Consouling Sounds. The track is named "Zop" and is a crushing, malevolent, slack tuned and slow primordial black metal piece.

The follow-up to their third album Lede was recorded live at Boma Studio, Ghent with Frederik Segers and mastered by Greg Chandler at Priory Studio, Birmingham, and shows a more atmospheric side of the band, but don't be fooled because it's also their most aggressive album to date, displaying a ferocity only rivalled by bands like Archgoat, Ildjarn and Mizmor. Listen now to "Zop" in the player below. Link
