American one-man electro/gothic project by musician Chip Calise, Scars Are Soulless, has released today via Insane Records a new album titled Vendetta. Even though it can’t be really called new, but at the same time, it only contains exclusive material on its list. The fact is that the album was supposed to be released nine years ago, back in 2012, but by the will of fate, this work is presented to the general public only now.
Vendetta is an electro-industrial/harsh EBM/gothic opus consisting of nine original tracks, recorded, as Calise writes, "in a modern electro-industrial style, although I have the courage to call it now a classic sound." The album consists of nine different tracks filled with electricity, from measured and more lyrical, to aggressive dance tracks. Listen now to the album preview in the player below. Link
